Spring 2009 News Letter

 

 

Message from the president:

 

Welcome to the Williamsport Riding Club!

 

We are looking forward to the 2009 Show Season with the Open Pleasure, Children’s Shows, Pointed Schooling Shows and Dressage Shows.  Our hope

 is that you will join/support the Williamsport Riding Club in our endeavors for 2009. 

 

Also new this year we will be changing the way we advertise for our sponsors. This year we will be offering banners to our sponsors that will be on

display ALL show season. These banners will be securely mounted, of course, so that they will not distract our exhibitors/horses when they are showing.

 We will soon have information posted on our website so check back for these exciting new details.

 

Another new addition this year- we will be having a Gas Raffle all show season.  You can purchase your Gas Raffle Ticket from one of our Officers or

Show Committee Chairpersons. A $5.00 raffle ticket gets you a chance to win $500.00 of gas. We will only be selling 1000 tickets so be sure to get

your ticket before they are sold out. The raffle will take place at our annual banquet.

 

The club would like to thank our new and continuing show chairpersons that have stepped up to take charge of our shows.  Please support the club by volunteering in the registration booth, gates, ring crew

 and in keeping our grounds looking nice.

 

The 2009 dues are being collected now; and should be paid by May 1st.  Please indicate when you send in your membership, in what area you can volunteer.

 

We need as much help as we can get from our volunteers to maintain and keep the Williamsport Riding Club growing.
