Monica M. Weaver Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund was established by Robert C. Weaver, Jr. and Irenay S. Weaver in memory of their daughter who died in the crash of Flight 800 on July 17, 1996. Monica had learned the importance of family, friends and faith. With this scholarship her family honors her intelligence, her creativity, her dependability and her caring spirit.  Numerous persons made charitable contributions to the Saint John's School of the Arts following her death. Additional contributions may be made at any time in the future by others.  This fund will provide tuition assistance to the students of the School of the Arts.

Any student enrolled in the School shall be eligible for a scholarship award.   Preference shall be given to school age students including college students.   Adults shall be considered only if there are no other applicants. First preference shall be to a flute student; second preference to a piano student, third preference to a voice student and lastly at the discretion of the Donors.

The scholarships are available for the Winter/Spring  and Fall semesters. Students may secure an application form from the School of the Arts office. Applications are due by the Friday of the second week of the semester.
