Our Gardens

Our first garden was put in the spring of 1996 between the Wenner Building and Divine Providence Hospital on Grampian Blvd. Plants and markers have changed over the years but the mainstay plants are: English Lavender, Lemon Balm, Rue, Bee Balm, Marjoram, Echinacea, Hyssop, and Lamb's Ear to name a few.

A Memorial garden was planted in 2002 in honor of Floyd Avery at the Bohlayer House in Canton, PA. (photo unavailable).

Inspired by the "Eden Project" in 2003, a garden was put in at the Valley View Nursing Home to help create a homey setting for the residences. The garden includes flowering plants and herbs. The varieties that can be enjoyed there are: Black Eyed Susans, Purple Iris, Peppermint , Dill, Salad Burnett and Oregano to just name a few.

We enjoy sharing our interest and love of Herbs with the community in this very hands on way. Please come visit our gardens.
