PLACE: Ways Garden, Williamsport PA On Sunday, June 12th 2005 the Coalition of Independent Artists and
Artisans (CIAA) will be hosting the 49th Annual Ways Garden Arts Show,
“Williamsport’s Oldest Arts Tradition.” We are looking for artists and
artisans of all mediums and inspirations to come out to display and perhaps
sell their artwork at this elegant event. As has been the tradition, this is
not a juried show, all applicants who wish to share their original artwork
will be accepted when their application and $10 processing fee are received.
This year there is no percentage taken from sales of artwork.
We are looking to build upon a very successful event last year, modifying
some elements of the show to enhance both the artists’ and art patrons’
experience, and also improving the publicity for the show. The event’s
focus, though, will continue to be the simple but elegant demonstration of
our artists’ work. Artwork will be displayed in any manner of the artist’s
choosing, from setting it against a chair to a formal tent with display
panels.
