   History Day Camp 2007

Twenty-six children who attended this summer's History Day Camp participated in many activities including butter making, paper making, basket weaving, corn grinding, a simulated archeological dig, and various lumbering activities.  The week-long camp ended with an entertaining dulcimer performance by Bruce and Lucy Henry as they spoke of the instrument and its construction, a pizza party, and a ride on the Hiawatha to see the remnants of the Susquehanna Boom.
Former camper and frequent volunteer Jayme Hilsher once again coordinated camp.  She did a terrific job in overseeing the camp's activities and making sure that everything was in place for each day.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's camp a success.  We could not have done it without you.
