The Lycoming County Historical Society, founded in 1907, is a not-for-profit educational organization with a museum, library and archives. The purpose of LCHS is to discover, collect, preserve, and interpret the prehistorical, historical, and cultural heritage of Northcentral Pennsylvania. LCHS is member supported. Membership benefits include unlimited free admission to the Museum, a bi-monthly subscription to Society News, an annual subscription to The Journal, a 10 percent discount in the Museum Gift Shop and the satisfaction that comes from helping to sustain an important community institution that is dedicated to the preservation of our heritage!
